"Where have all the flowers gone - long time passing..."
My father bought a HP Color scanner in 1995. On Christmas day 1996, my Mom and my brothers (David & Joey),along with my Grandma Barb and an old geeser named Beauford - all drove from Seattle to Moses Lake (in a pickup truck) to see my great grandparents. Dad stayed home, got out all the school photos he could find and scanned his heart out. Ever since then, he's been trying to keep up. My little brother started kindergarten when I started my final year of highschool. If he keeps this tradition up for him, he will have to keep that scanner running until 2011. His Atari 400 computer he bought in 1980 (two years before I was born) is still running. I hope I live to see him put Joey's graduation picture face down on the glass and click the mouse one more time. Well Dad, as Bob Hope used to say, "thanks for the memories..."
