Cheri was born in Renton, Washington on June 27th, 1982. Her father had the great delight of delivering her on the kitchen floor while preparing to celebrate his own birthday (6/27/51). By the time the paramedics arrived, Cheri was already full-grown (just kidding).
Nicknamed "Doodles" from her early love of sketching (doodling), Cheri is no "doodler" when it comes to scholastic matters. She has maintained outstanding grades, excelling in academics, athletics - not to mention just having fun! Relocating from the Seattle area to Virginia in 1998 was a difficult adjustment for the sixteen year old Cheri, as she had to leave behind the love and admiration of her established peers; taking up residence as an unknown in the competitive Great Bridge School district. Arriving in Chesapeake, Virginia in August of 1998, her exceptional volleyball play earned honors as MVP for the Greatbridge Wildcats, advancing to a coveted 1st Team slot and Southeast District Player of The Year honors in November 1998. Now competing nationally with the Richmond Volley Club (RVC), she still finds time for studies, playing tennis, making audio recordings of favorite tunes for her West Coast (and East Coast) friends and yes - "doodling" now and then.
